Set up in 1988, Xi'an Seastar Scien-tech Investment Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. is a non-governmental scien-tech enterprise registered in Xi'an National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. At present, the Company, with over 6,000 employees and the total assets of 6 billion RMB, has become a large-sized multinational enterprise group with a listed company, over 40 holding companies and 2 oversea companies from a small-sized non-governmental scien-tech institution initially.

In June 1999, "A" shares of "Seastar Scien-tech" controlled by Seastar group was listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange Center.
